SEVEN DIRECTIONS

Seven Directions is a seven night ceremonial immersion created around purification, transformation, remembrance and rebirth.

Held at the beautiful Shangri-La Sanctuary in Tenerife, the retreat draws inspiration from Toltec and Mexican ancestral traditions and from the symbolism of the seven directions: East, South, West and North, the Earth below us, the Sky above us and the Heart within.

These directions become a symbolic map for our week, exploring where we have come from, what we are ready to release, what we wish to welcome into our lives and, ultimately, how we return to our own centre.

Our journey opens with temazcal, creating a ceremonial threshold into the retreat. During the week, participants will also have the opportunity to experience carefully held ceremonial work with sacred medicines originating from Mexico, alongside ancestral teachings, breathwork, meditation, qigong, sacred songs, live music, movement and time immersed in nature.

The medicine work is held within a dedicated ceremonial container and is approached with preparation, respect and integration. Further details about individual ceremonies are shared privately as part of our application and screening process, allowing us to discuss suitability, health considerations and what participants can expect before joining the retreat.

Toward the end of our journey, we return to the temazcal for purification and renewal before dedicating our final full day to integration, allowing the experiences of the week to settle before returning home.

This is deliberately an intimate retreat.

With only 10 participant spaces and a substantial facilitation and support team, we are able to offer a much more personal environment with individual attention throughout the week.

Accommodation is shared at the sanctuary, nourishing meals are provided throughout the retreat, and transfers from Tenerife South Airport can be coordinated for arrival and departure.

Seven Directions is an invitation to leave the noise behind for seven nights and enter a different rhythm, one of ceremony, nature, community and remembrance.
